I’m Kim Welch. I’m thrilled to be part of this new preschool. My own children went to the previous school (CLA) and I taught there for 7 years!! I love that it has come full-circle for me.

I hold an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Emmanuel college. I’m EEC certified (infant/toddler, Preschool, Lead Teacher & Director 1 & 2). I’ve loved teaching preschool for the last 15+ years! I was in the business arena for many years but once I had my own children and started volunteering in their preschool classrooms, I realized I enjoyed working with children rather than adults! ☺️

I’ve lived in Tewksbury for the last 23 years. I’m married to Bill & have 2 daughters Meaghan (21 years old & going into her senior year at UMass Dartmouth) & Madison (17 years old going into her senior year of high school). In my spare time I love to spend time with my family. I also enjoy walking/hiking and discovering new places, travel, and gardening.

My name is Desiree Wickham. I have been working in early childcare for 25+ years. I earned my infant/toddler certification in 2001. I worked at Children's Playhouse Daycare in Everett Ma until I became an Au pair/Nanny for a family in Burlington in 2005-2015.

I completed my Associates degree in Liberal Arts in 2012. I returned back to school to finish my bachelor's degree in elementary education at Liberty University in 2018. I taught as a toddler teacher at Mount Hope Christian school in Burlington from 2019-2021.

I am a mom to 3 girls, Ivy, Bree and Rylee. They all went to the previous school CLA, that is where we met Ms. Kim. She taught all 3 of my girls.

I can not wait to see what the future holds for us. It has been such a blessing to be able to mold the minds of our future. Looking forward to meeting all of our families.

Hi! My name is Meaghan and I am so glad to be at MSLA. I’m a graduate of the former preschool (Creative Learning Academy) so this is an exciting opportunity for me.

I will be graduating in May from UMass Dartmouth with a degree in photography. I have a small photography business. (Check out my website: https://meaghanwelch.zenfolio.com)

I’ve worked with children for many years. My first job at 15 years old was at GymStreet USA as a birthday party hostess and camp counselor. I still continue occasionally as weekend party hostess 8 years later! I worked at the former preschool and have babysat for many of the families throughout the years. I’m so excited to be able to continue to work with children and watch them grow and develop.

I look forward to using my creativity in helping to contribute to the daily curriculum and learn from the experienced teachers at MSLA!

Hi I’m Madison (Maddie) and I’m so happy to be a part of MSLA as I was very involved in the previous preschool.

I’m a senior at Tewksbury Memorial High School where I’ve taken Childcare 1, 2,3. I also work the after school program at the Dewing Elementary. I’ve worked as a party hostess/camp counselor at GymStreet USA. I’ve also worked at JayGees Ice Cream. I am currently a barista at Aroma Joe’s & teach dance classes as well at The Dance Company (where I’ve danced since I was 3 years old!). I also babysit for many families. I love to be creative and move & dance with kids of all ages!

I haven’t yet made a decision about where I will go to college in the Fall but I plan to study Speech and Language disorders and would like to become a Speech Pathologist.
